Finland wants to know what people think about them. So much so that they have set up a website to track what is being said about them.
This website has been set up to gauge the brand appeal that Finland and its people have based on information found on the internet. Check it out for yourself here.
This is not the first time the Finns are pioneering a technology forward attitude, on July 1st, of this year, Finland made it a law that all citizens have the right to broadband internet. According to their statistics 96% of their population is already connected online (1Mbps), and that only 4,000 more homes require broadband in order to fully comply to this new legislation.
A law to make broadband a given right!!!
I love Canada too much to move, but you Finns sure do make the notion tempting.
