Ad: Skoda Parking Assist

It's been a while since I posted any advertisement related blog entries. The main reason...well, because the site I would normally find all the great advertisements on, Ads of the World , seemed to be having problems hosting videos. I'm not entirely sure where the video playback problems were originating from, but for the past few weeks I haven't been able to view any video from their site. After weeks of daily trying, suddenly videos play. With that said I now present... Hey iPhone Users, Got QWERTY Envy?

Not too long ago I posted an entry about a prototype iPhone4 case that doubled as a QWERTY keyboard. Well here is some good news for all you iPhone3GS and iPhone4 users, someone finally developed that prototype. The  TK-421 iPhone Case with Flip-Out Keyboard  is available through ThinkGeek.com for $49.99(US) + s/h. Unfortunately it won't work with any other model of iPhone, due to some Bluetooth comparability issues with earlier iPhones. Get more information, pictures, and a video from the link above.

Retro Sticky Notes

Back in the early 90's, when the Amiga500 computer was in its glory, I must have had hundreds of 3.5" floppy disks. Today the 3.5" floppy disk is no longer being produced, but I still have about a dozen or so sitting on my desk in front of me. In reality they still offer some usefulness, when trying to update BIOS images for older motherboards or maybe some archaic driver installation but thats about it. Why I still have them is really beyond me, in the back of my mind I still have that nostalgic attachment to them I guess. Well for those of you whom have the same nostalgia to the floppy disk let me introduce you to the Floppy Disk Sticky Note . You get 3 pads of 50 sheets for about $12(CDN) + s/h, which seems kinda expensive, but you really can't put a price on nostalgia can you? Here's a few pics...   Via - LikeCool

The Best Present A Kid Could Get

See that adorable kid, well thats me when I was about 4 years old. See that toy I'm posing with, that was my all-time favorite toy when I was a kid. All day long I would run up the the sidewalk and then race down finishing off each trip with a few 360's. I rode that thing until the plastic wheels worn through and created flat spots. Eventually becoming unrideable because of the worn wheels. I guess thats where I got my first taste of adrenaline. Nowadays it seems like all the kids I see have motorized ride-on vehicles, which I guess are pretty cool, and definitely state of the art, but they don't seem that exciting. So to all you parents out there, do your kids a favor and get them one of the following toys. The Big Wheel Introduced in 1969 the Big Wheel went on to become one of the most popular toys through the 70's,80's, and 90's. In 2001, Empire Industries, manufacturer of the Big Wheel, was forced to close it's doors. The Big Wheel was no longer being pr

Lego Digital Designer

As I'm writing this blog entry, outside snow is falling, blanketing the city of Vancouver in white. I love the way my city looks after a snowfall, and its so peaceful and quiet with cars driving slower and far less traffic. Anyways seeing as many people are probably going to be staying home from work/school, I thought I'd post an entry that would help to ease some boredom. I've come across a program called Lego Digital Designer  that allows you to create anything you want out of virtual Lego bricks. Did I mention that it's FREE! Available for both windows or mac personal computers so go get yourself a copy, and enjoy building something today (120mb though so might take some time on slower internet connections).

Poker For The Uber Gamer

I've never been all that into Poker, and truthfully can't wrap my head around its global phenomenon. I can't understand why sports stations would rather televise poker than other less know sports like cricket, or rugby, but I guess to each their own. Whatever my bias towards poker is, I can't help but think that the HeadsUp Poker Challenge machine is fricken cool. Just check this thing out The only downside about this item is its $7,800(CND) price tag available here , but it does have free shipping! Via - LuxuryLaunches

Ok everyone, here goes, congratulations to Sebastian Vettel for winning this years F1 Drivers title, and to Red Bull Racing for winning the F1 Constructors title.
