Medicinal Cola

CannaCola is introducing a new way to administer herbal therapy (medical marijuana) in the form of a soda pop. Containing between 35-63 milligrams of THC in each 12 ounce bottle, the sale of CannaCola is limited to medicinal marijuana dispensaries only.  Patients can now have their prescriptions filled while sipping on Grape Ape, Orange Kush, DocWeed (Dr. Pepper), SourDiesel (7Up/Sprite) and Cola flavored soda pop. Actual price is said to be about $10(US) to $15(US) per bottle, and availability is currently limited to selected  outlets in Colorado, with California coming by this spring. Via - Gearlog

Next Generation Of Advertising

(picture of actual electroluminescent display: click for preview) The next generation of advertising isn't going to be coming from the creative minds of the Advertising, Marketing, and Media alumni. Nope this next phase of advertising is being developed by scientists, who are pushing the boundaries of eCoupling, Induction, and Electroluminescent materials. Some of the more dedicated mass-imo followers will already be familiar with electricity via induction, which is the process of transmitting electricity from one object to another without the use of wires. However eCoupling is a new technology combining electrical induction with low power micro-controllers that allow data exchange. So what exactly does that mean? By adding eCoupling to a retail display rack (like at you're favorite supermarket) then outfitting products with tags (similar to rfid used in paypass credit cards) you can have total inventory control. You can know what is being sold, when, and how quickly it sells o

Rechargeable Insole

Here in Vancouver, it rarely get's cold enough to warrant heated insoles. However for those of you living in an area with a more severe weather climate, or maybe those who work outside all day, or maybe you're into some extreme winter sports, then these rechargeable heated insoles, may be of interest. EXO2 maker of the HeatSole is a pioneer in the heated clothing market offering gloves, vests, jackets, and heated insoles. Available directly through their website for $119.99(US Free Shipping), Amazon  has them as well, but for $139.95(US +  Shipping), you're better off contacting EXO2 directly With 5-7 hours of continuous heat per charge, and a cut to size, one size fits most design these provide the perfect 113 degree comfort.

Ecookie

Nothing compliments a fresh cup of coffee other than a cookie. Combining a stir stick with a cookie, designers  Victor Lopes Mascarenhas   & Rodrigo Maia have created an enjoyable way of saving the landfill from yet another stir stick! Via - Yanko Design

Ferrari FF

The new Ferrari FF (FF, Ferrari Four representing the seating capacity) featuring a 6.3L, V12 producing 651HP. With a 0-100KM/H time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 334KM/H, this is definitely suited for the soccer mom with a lead foot. In my opinion I can't help but think this new Ferrari FF, is a sleeker design based on the Porsche Cayenne.  Via - Luxist

Cyclists Rear-view Camera

Being an avid recreational cyclist, and living in Vancouver, I can really appreciate this next tech product. Many of you might be familiar with my past rants, describing how poor the driving conditions are here in Vancouver and as bad as driving is, it's nothing compared to navigating these streets by bicycle. Cerevellum is the maker of the appropriately named Hindsight 30, which incorporates a seat post mounted camera with a heads up video display mounted on the handlebars. Allowing the cyclist to easily see behind them without, taking their eyes off the road in front of them. Still in the production phase, no word as to availability or prices. Stay tuned for the update Via - Gizmag
